Chingri Malai Curry

Ingredients:-
400 gm prawns
3 Tbsp mustard oil
1/2 tbsp whole cumin
2 Tbsp ginger paste
1 Tbsp cumin paste
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp garam masala
1 1/4 cup coconut milk
2 tsp ghee

Alu posto recipe (potatoes in whitepoppy seed paste)


Ingredients>
3-4 potatoes - chopped
3 Tbsp poppy seeds
3 green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
3 dried red chillies
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnishing
Oil

How to make Bhaja Bengali Muger(Moong) Dal ?

Ingredients for Bhaja Bengali Muger
(Moong) Dal :
1/2 cup Moong Dal (Split Green Gram)
1 green chilly, slit
1/2 t-spoon grated ginger (Adrak)
2 table-spoon oil
1 cup water
salt to taste
Herbs and Spices :
1/2 t-spoon cumin seeds (jeera)
1 bay leaf (Tej Patta)
1/2 t-spoon turmeric powdered (haldi)
1/4 t-spoon coriander powdered (dhaniya)

Basmati Rice

Ingredients - 

Prep time: 30 min
Cook time: 15 min
Total time: 45 min
Yields 3 cups of cooked rice
1 cup Basmati Rice
2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
A splash of oil (vegetable,
olive oil or a bit of butter)
1/8 tsp turmeric (optional)
